The Program
Walker Club Lambs is the show side of the Walker place: lambs bred for the ring, raised for the fair grounds, and shown from Hill County fairs to the South Texas State Fair. Two years of the program are preserved in the archive — the 2002 prospect crop and the breeding bucks that produced it — along with the results record from 2000 through 2002.
The lambs needed a track dog to stay fit, which is why the same kennel also breeds and trains track dogs — and keeps a string of longhorns going for team ropers to practice on.
